ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – An Albuquerque woman will spend at least 30 years in prison after being found guilty of first-degree murder.
In September 2023, Angel Salazar and a man were seen on camera entering Roman Martinez’s room at the Days Inn on Central Ave.
Thirty minutes later, Salazar and the unidentified suspect are seen leaving the room with a bloody hatchet. Police said Martinez was found dead after being struck more than 80 times with the hatchet.
