Calvin charged with 3 counts of attempted murder after shooting two children in Camden Alabama

CAMDEN, ALABAMA - A teenager is under arrest after two minors were shot in south Alabama, the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to Sheriff Larry Colston, a man was dropping off two juveniles, ages nine and 10, at a home on Union Grove Road in Camden when the suspect, who was standing in the yard, opened fire.
Both children were shot but the man was not injured. Colston said the victims were taken to an area hospital, then later airlifted to a hospital in Birmingham. Their condition is currently unknown.
Calvin Higginbottom, 17, was arrested Thursday night and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and three counts of attempted murder.
