McIntosh charged with murder after beating his Columbus Ohio girlfriend's 5-month-old girl

COLUMBUS, OHIO - A 32-year-old Columbus man is facing a murder charge after prosecutors say he caused fatal injuries to his girlfriend's 5-month-old daughter, the latest in a string of deaths involving young children.
Glenn McIntosh appeared at his initial court hearing Oct. 15, where Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Mark Hummer set his bond at $2 million.
Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor Shania Goble disclosed during the hearing that the 5-month-old Ameira Reynolds died Oct. 13 at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
McIntosh was dating Ameira's mother, Goble said, but was not biologically related to the baby. The couple had been together about three months and were living on the 4000 block of Willard Brook Road on the city's Southeast Side, according to Goble.
