STATESBORO, GEORGIA - Statesboro police arrested a second man suspected in the rape of an unconscious woman last week. Around 8 p.m. Friday, Nikilas Jamal Fussell, the second suspect in the rape investigation of the May 6 incident, turned himself in after Statesboro police Detective Tommy Brown located him and advised him to do so, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said. Fussell, 19, of Chandler Road, is charged with one count of rape.

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - Police say they responded to The Cove at Southern apartments on Chandler Road Monday at 1:30 a.m. after receiving reports of multiple men having sex with an unconscious female. When officers arrived they found a 20-year-old female unconscious inside. Officers identified all of the suspects in the apartment and took voluntary statements.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Police say she had no apparent physical injuries.

Authorities are now looking for 20-year-old Nikilas Jamal Fussell, as a wanted suspect in the case. One man, Joshua Denzel Brown, 20, has already been arrested and charged with rape. At this time, it is not known if others were involved in the attack.

The relationship between the victim and the suspects is under investigation.

Back in March 2011, both Fussell and Brown were 2 of the 5 people arrested and charged with vandalizing Vidalia High School in Toombs County. The suspects broke into the school and used eggs, ketchup, oil and flour to vandalize the hallways. The school was forced to shut down in order to clean up the mess.

Christian Flathman, public relations for Georgia Southern University, tells WTOC that neither of the two suspects are students at the school.
