Detroit Michigan mom and son found murdered inside bloody home after missing Labor Day party

DETROIT, MICHIGAN - A mother and her young son were mysteriously found dead in their home after not showing up to a Labor Day party.
Linda Hill, 41, and Kardi Jackson, 12, were found in the house on Berdeno Avenue in Hazel Park, Detroit, when police arrived after 4pm on Monday.
Hazel Park Police refused to say how they died, other than that they suffered apparent trauma in a double homicide.
But despite no one being in custody for the murders, police mysteriously said there was no danger to the public.
Hill's sister Lkeisha Whitfield described seeing blood inside the house and outside the front door where Kardi tried to flee the killer.
'My nephew was literally trying to run out the house, its blood everywhere. My nephew or my sister didn’t deserve this,' she said.
Whitfield mourned her sister in a heartbreaking Facebook post as she watched Hill and Kardi's bodies be removed from the home.
