Bibb County Alabama school employee sentenced to just 2 years for sexual misconduct with a student

BIBB COUNTY, ALABAMA - A former Bibb County High School employee has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted on multiple charges of sexual misconduct involving a student.
Jeremy Russell served as a paraprofessional and an assistant basketball coach before his arrest in September of 2023.
According to court documents - Russell will serve a split sentence of two years in the department of corrections - with five years of probation.
If Russell violates his probation - he could potentially serve the full sentence.
