FORT WORTH, TEXAS - A young mother of two was found dead on a bed covered in blood by her daughters, ages six and four, after her husband allegedly shot her in Texas.
Glenda Maria Aguilera Rubio, 21, was found on a bed in the kitchen by her two daughters, who rushed to awaken the owner of the home, telling the woman that their mom 'had blood on her,' according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The Fort Worth Police Department arrested Josue Bayardo Rodas, 29, for the mother's murder after he called 911 to turn himself in.
The couple and two young girls were staying at the Fort Worth home and had arrived on August 27.
The woman who lived at the home told detectives that Rodas and Rubio were planning on spending a few nights there after a fight with the family members they lived with.
Rodas and Rubio were drinking alcohol with the man who lives at the Fort Worth home on August 29, before the night turned deadly.
The man told police he went to bed by 11 pm, and the woman said she came home around midnight to find Rodas and Rubio still drinking together.
She went to bed around 1:30 am and awoke the next morning at 7 am to the disturbing news from Rubio's daughters.
