Rasheed arrested in Akron Ohio after murdering his girlfriend

AKRON, OHIO - Akron police say detectives arrested a man Thursday suspected in the murder of his domestic partner.
According to police, detectives launched an investigation Sunday after a 39-year-old woman arrived to Summa Health Akron with multiple injuries.
This became a murder case when she later died at the hospital.
Detectives say her cause of death was blunt force trauma. Her name has not been released.
As the investigation went on, police say they learned the woman was possibly assaulted around 1 a.m. Sunday at a home on West Dalton Street.
Detectives say they identified her domestic partner, Rasheed D. Lagway, 43, as a person of interest.
