Police seeking Jaquavias after he murdered Dyshawn in Wellford, South Carolina

WELLFORD, SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities in Spartanburg County are conducting a homicide investigation following a deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday night in the Wellford community.
According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Tanglewood Road shortly before 10 p.m. in reference to a reported shooting.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that 32-year-old Dyshawn Lamar Moore was pronounced deceased at the scene at 9:45 p.m.
Investigators have identified a suspect in connection with the homicide.
Jaquavias Raeshun Moses, 29, is currently wanted on a murder charge and remains at large.
Authorities describe him as armed and dangerous and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to immediately contact law enforcement.
At this time, the Sheriff’s Office has not released details regarding the circumstances of the shooting or a possible motive.
