Jimmey arrested after murdering Jermaine in Williamston North Carolina

WILLIAMSTON, NORTH CAROLINA - Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting in Williamston.
51-year-old Jimmey Lynch was arrested just before 2 a.m. Sunday by Williamston police.
On Saturday, just after 7:30 p.m., officers went to a home on Roberson Street for a report that someone had been shot.
Officials say the victim, identified as 27-year-old Jermaine Smith, of Hamilton, died due to his injuries.
Lynch is facing an open count of murder and is being held without bond.
He will appear in court tomorrow.
