New York City police search for yet another subway slasher after latest incident

WESTCHESTER SQUARE, NEW YORK — Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a subway slashing in the Bronx.
A 21-year-old man riding the No. 6 train was slashed in the face after a man approached him just as the train was approaching Westchester Square Station at around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 28, according to police.

The man then got off the train and fled in an unknown direction.
The 21-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, officials said.
The man was last seen wearing bright red pants, a dark red shirt, a dark sweater and a knit hat. Police said he is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds.
