MOBILE, ALABAMA - According to Mobile Police, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at approximately 9:11 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of Persimmon Street. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered a male subject shot the victim during an argument. The subject, James James, 37, was detained on scene. He was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.

The victim has been identified as Carlos Bogan, 34.
