Brown charged with murder after a shooting in Greenville South Carolina

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA - The Greenville Police Department said a suspect in an overnight shooting on Friday was not granted bond.
Officers said they were called to Roosevelt Avenue and Nichol Street at 12:18 a.m. after dispatch received a call about a man shot in a parking lot.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said the victim was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where they passed away at 1:40 a.m.
The victim was identified as 28-year-old Christopher Lewis Dendy Jr.
Officers said Daniel Alexander Brown was arrested with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center.
