LEAKESVILLE, MISSISSIPPI - Drexler Dwight Johnson, 37, will now stand trial for murder charges for the State Line triple-homicide that happened on New Year’s.
Johnson has been a long-time suspect in the case, but police were only able to charge him with accessory after the fact and conspiracy to commit a crime initially; however, in March, his charges were upgraded to capital murder.

The three murder charges will be for the slayings of Lester Campbell, Rhonda Denson and Dirk Jason Thornton during a robbery at the Clark’s Exxon in State Line.
