Parrish charged with murder after a North Charleston South Carolina shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - A man is facing charges after a shooting that left one person dead Saturday afternoon.
Parrish Mitchell, 20, is being charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The North Charleston Police Department says officers were called to a disturbance of shots fired in the 7800 block of Roxboro Road at Avalon at North Charleston Townhomes at 5:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man shot inside an apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
