Derico charged with murder after shooting De'Tavion in Polk County Iowa

POLK COUNTY, IOWA — The Polk County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as 28-year-old De'Tavion Marques Levi, of Des Moines.
A man was killed in an early Saturday morning shooting in Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office shared that deputies arrived at the scene around 3:45 a.m. on Northeast 54th Avenue at the Lumberyard parking lot.
Derico Darrell Lowery, 30, of Des Moines, was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with first-degree murder for the shooting.
