PIKE COUNTY, ALABAMA - A Troy woman has been sentenced in connection to a 2021 murder in Brundidge, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.
Raven Alexis Brassell will spend 40 years behind bars following a guilty plea in the 2021 shooting death of 44-year-old Cordero Ousley.
Pike County authorities arrested Brassell along with Joshua Devon Peterson, 22, on capital murder charges for allegedly robbing and killing Ousley in a grassy area off Floyd Street in Brundidge on April 20, 2021.
Peterson was sentenced to 35 years in prison earlier this year.
