Bogle charged in Sumter County Florida with murder for killing an American man in 2019 - plus the drugs and a stolen gun found in his car during arrest

SUMTER COUNTY, FLORIDA - The Sumter County Sheriff's Office said it has made an arrest in a homicide investigation dating back to 2019.
SCSO said Darrell Devon Bogle, 26, was arrested on Monday for the first-degree murder of Michael Kotait on Nov. 9, 2019. Detectives with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Squad located and arrested Bogle at The Mark at Wildwood apartment complex in Oxford, Florida.
A large number of narcotics were found in the car Bogle exited before he was arrested, and a stolen handgun was found in Bogle's waistband at the time of his arrest, according to the sheriff's office.
Bogle is being charged with first-degree murder, armed trafficking in methamphetamine, armed trafficking in fentanyl, armed trafficking in oxycodone, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance (THC wax) with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance (suboxone schedule III) with intent to sell, keeping or maintaining a vehicle for trafficking a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a firearm and/or ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of a new legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license is suspended.
