CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - A top ICE chief has issued a blistering response to a video of a local Democratic representative warning locals on the streets to stay in their homes as federal agents swarmed Chicago.
Senator Karina Villa shared a video on her Instagram account showing her running along a street and warning residents to stay in their cars.
'Stay in your cars! Tell everyone to stay in their houses!' Villa warned as she ran on a residential street in West Chicago.
Gregory Bovino, the US Customs and Border Patrol chief in Chicago, slammed Villa during a recent interview on Fox & Friends, suggesting that 'she may need some help'.
'When I see this, I think she really needs to see someone,' he said when reacting to the video of Villa running down the street.
Villa was also seen in the video marching over to what appeared to be two federal agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in a black SUV.
The agents were wearing masks and bulletproof vests. They entered the vehicle and ignored Villa before driving away.
'This is my city! That's right! Take off your masks! Take off your masks!' she yelled at them.
