Chunn charged with 2005 murder after stabbing Catrina in Richmond County Georgia - He's already serving life for another murder

RICHMOND COUNTY, GEORGIA - The Richmond County Sheriff's Office obtained an arrest warrant on Wednesday in a 20-year-old murder case.
Authorities obtained the warrant for Juan Renardo Chunn, 56, for the murder of Catrina Beatrice Evans in 2005. On Aug. 20 of that year, deputies found Evans fatally stabbed in an apartment on Amsterdam Drive. In the apartment with her was a 1-year-old child, found alive.
The case got another look in July and a palm print found near the victim’s body was resubmitted to the GBI Department of Forensic Science Crime Lab. The GBI alleged that the palm print belonged to Chunn, who is also known as Juan Renaldo Tillman.
Chunn is currently imprisoned at the Columbus Correctional Institution in Whiteville, North Carolina, serving a life sentence for murder. Still, the sheriff’s office said it will proceed with the local murder charge.
