Williams found guilty after a 2023 Birmingham Alabama shooting that killed at US Navy veteran

BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA - A 57-year-old was convicted Wednesday in the 2023 fatal shooting of another man in Birmingham.
A Jefferson County jury found Timothy Lee Williams guilty of murder in the slaying of 65-year-old Rodger Davis, a U.S. Navy veteran and grandfather of three.
The trial began Monday before Jefferson County Circuit Judge Michael Streety, and the jury returned its guilty verdict before noon Wednesday.
Davis’s family said they are thankful justice has been served.
