LUBBOCK, TEXAS - Becky Florez said her family has been devasted after losing the love, wisdom and presence of her father, Ramon, whom she described as the heart of her family.
Three years after 66-year-old Ramon Florez's body was found in his apartment in north Lubbock, Becky Florez said her family still struggles with his death, particularly with the brutal way he was killed.
"His life was stolen from him when he was stabbed and left to die -- alone, in pain and without the chance to say goodbye to the people who loved him most," she said. "We are left with grief, anger and questions that can never be answered."
