CONVERSE, TEXAS - More than a year after gunmen sprayed a Converse home with nearly 30 rounds, killing 4-year-old Mary Ann Marble and wounding her family, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that another suspect has been arrested on a capital murder charge.
Sheriff Javier Salazar said 20-year-old Bryan Salazar was taken into custody early Friday at his home. He is charged with capital murder in Marble’s death, along with eight counts of aggravated assault – mass shooting, and two counts of injury to a child.
Investigators said five relatives — Mary Ann, her parents and two siblings — were struck by gunfire. In total, eight family members, including an infant and other adults, were inside the home during the shooting, according to the sheriff.
