NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA — New Orleans police arrested a man Saturday in connection with a homicide on Dumaine Street earlier that day, authorities said.
NOPD Homicide Section detectives identified Enrique Garcia, 26, as the suspect. Garcia was located later that same day in the Third District and arrested.
“Through further investigation, NOPD Homicide Section detectives developed and positively identified Garcia as the perpetrator. Garcia was later located the same day in the Third District, where he was arrested and subsequently booked into the Orleans Justice Center on one count of second-degree murder,” NOPD said in a press release Sunday.
