MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA — A convicted felon faced charges on Monday after deputies arrested him for shooting a man at a public park early Sunday morning in Miami-Dade County, records show.
Antonio Braddy shot the man at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, at 6000 NW 32 Court, in the Brownsville neighborhood, according to Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
The wounded man left his car in the park’s parking lot and crossed Northwest 32 Avenue to get help before deputies arrived at the Caraf Oil gas station at 6151 NW 32 Ave., according to deputies.
The victim “was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,” a Miami-Dade deputy wrote in a report for Braddy’s arrest.
During the investigation, deputies found a “blood trail” and several 9mm spent bullet casings on the ground near the victim’s white car in the park’s parking lot, according to the arrest report.
