GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA - Officers with the Greensboro Police Department announced the arrests of two men in connection with a double homicide that happened in October 2021.
On Sept. 29, Trevon Jennings, 31, was arrested on a fugitive warrant in Atlanta by the FBI Fugitive Task Force, with the assistance of the Atlanta Police Department. Authorities said Jennings is pending extradition on warrants for two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Delorion Smith, 19, and Kwashawn Tyson, 20.
On Sept. 18, the Greensboro Police Department's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) arrested Antonio Rogers, 34, on warrants for two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Smith and Tyson. Investigators said Rogers is being held without bond in the Guilford County Jail.
Officers said the victim's families have been notified of Jennings and Rogers' arrests.
