NEW INFORMATION: MPD: 1 dead, 4 injured after shooting on Navco Road

Mobile, Alabama - MOBILE, Ala. ( WALA ) - Mobile Police released new information Sunday morning on a shooting Saturday night on Navco Road. FROM MPD: I wanted to provide a brief update in reference to last night’s homicide/shooting investigation. There were a total of 5 victims, including the deceased. The 4 victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, we don’t have anything further to release. Thanks for your patience while our detectives continue to investigate this case. EARLIER STORY: One male victim is dead after a shooting in the 1400 block of Navco Road near McVay Drive, according to Mobile Police. MPD said three additional victims suffered gunshot wounds.
