NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - A teen was arrested for the robbery and fatal shooting of a person in South Nashville.
On Friday, Aug. 29, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department arrested 18-year-old Jamier Logan for the November 24, 2024, robbery-related fatal shooting of 23-year-old Mohamed Keita in William Pitts Park off Tusculum Road in South Nashville.
Police said Logan was 17 at the time of the murder.
Police arrested Jamier Logan on Friday on an outstanding warrant for aggravated burglary for an Aug. 14 break-in at an apartment.
A criminal homicide charge is pending against him in Juvenile Court. In April 2025, he was released on a $35,000 bond for his April 16 vehicle theft, evading arrest and theft of property.

According to police, Logan reportedly demanded to see a resident inside due to an ongoing dispute.
Police said this is the third homicide arrest in this case. On May 30, police arrested 18-year-old Angel Sandoval and on March 6, police arrested 18-year-old Jazlynn Summers.
“She admitted to setting up and participating in the robbery during an interview with Homicide Unit detectives. She and Sandoval were both 17 at the time of the murder and are charged in Juvenile Court,” police said.
