NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - A vicious fight on a New Orleans school bus saw a student's mom rip the hair from the school bus monitor's head after she told the teen they couldn't sit at the back of the bus.
Tamika Jackson was working her shift as the school bus monitor earlier this week, when a simple request to a McDonogh 35 High School student landed her in the emergency room.
'What’s happening with our youth? How disrespectful our youth have become... and rebellious,' her husband, Johnny Jackson, told Fox 8.
Tamika had become suspicious of the students frequently sitting at the back of the bus and told the student not to sit in the last two rows.
'For the previous week and a half, a lot of the students have been going to the back of the bus, and my wife suspected they may be doing some lewd acts toward the back of the bus, so she told the student, "Hey, you can’t go back there,"' Johnny said.
The student, however, decided to call her mother who then boarded the bus at a stop further along the route.
Video footage captured the sudden violent fight between the three which left Tamika with her hair pulled out of her head as well as bite marks and scratches.
'The mother... then just reaches out and hits her in the face, and then the assault occurs so now the daughter joins the fray,' Johnny said.
