DARROW, LOUISIANA - Detectives with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit have arrested Peyton Jackson, 17, of Darrow, in connection with the homicide of Tyjon Comery, 18, of Darrow. Jackson is charged with second-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and illegal use of weapons.
On Thursday, August 28, deputies responded to a homicide at a residence on Brown Extension Road in Darrow. Deputies located Comery inside the home, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
During their investigation, detectives identified Jackson, a close acquaintance of Comery, as the suspect. Detectives executed an arrest warrant and booked Jackson into the Ascension Parish Jail.
