BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA — The Birmingham Police Department announced that an arrest has been made in connection to a shooting that occurred Aug. 21.
According to the BPD, 25-year-old Gabriel Chavez was identified as the suspect in the shooting. Chavez was taken into custody Friday. He is charged with attempted murder and second-degree assault.
