COLUMBUS, GEORGIA - A Columbus woman has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at The Lakes Apartments on Warm Springs Road.
On Sept. 11, 2025, police took 30-year-old Shayonna Jones into custody and charged her with murder, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, and cruelty to children in the third degree.
