RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA - An internet star known for her fitness content was plunged into a stalking nightmare after her young son ran up to get a sticker from a sheriff's deputy at a county fair.
Briana Ortega, 29, claimed in a civil lawsuit that Deputy Eric Piscatella, 30, illegally obtained her personal information so that he could ‘stalk her and pursue a romantic relationship with her.’
The ordeal allegedly started in September 2023 when Piscatella met Ortega after the officer offered her children stickers while at a 'family festival' in Coachella.
That is how the Riverside County sheriff’s deputy found out her name, which is how he then allegedly accessed her personal and private information, per the complaint.
About four months later, Piscatella allegedly looked up Ortega's home address and showed up at her La Quinta residence - 'armed and in full uniform.'
He supposedly asked Ortega about the location of her daughter, which she did not provide after feeling 'alarmed and concerned.'
After that, Piscatella allegedly started texting Ortega - although she never provided him with her phone number.
