ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – A St. Louis judge signed an arrest warrant Saturday for a fatal shooting in The Ville neighborhood.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of St. Ferdinand Avenue.
Police said Dahja Tucker, 23, and two women went to confront the victim. Both Tucker and one of the women were armed with guns.
Surveillance video from the shooting scene shows the group interacting with the victim and others. At one point while Tucker is off camera, the victim can be seen recoiling and doubling over as if he were shot.
Police said the victim fell over and crawled behind a pillar for cover. Tucker followed the victim behind the pillar and shot him, even though the victim had his hands raised to show he was unarmed.
