IBERVILLE PARISH, LOUISIANA - A suspect has been arrested following a shooting that left one person hurt in Iberville Parish, authorities said.
The suspect, Donald Ray Vondo Jr., is charged with attempted second-degree murder, and felon in possession of a firearm.
According to Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi, the shooting happened around 6 p.m. Friday, August 29, on Barrow Street.
Authorities said a car drove up and opened fire on a person who was walking. They added that the victim was airlifted to Baton Rouge and is stable at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
