Georgetown SC police seach for Jakaii after three attempted murders

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCSC) - The Georgetown Police Department is asking for your help in finding a suspect wanted on multiple charges.

Officials say Jakaii Omar Pinckney is wanted on three counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.Officials say Jakaii Omar Pinckney is wanted on three counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The Police Department says Pinckney was identified as a suspect from an incident on Saturday in the 1900 block of Gilbert Street, where a vehicle was shot at and one of the occupants of the vehicle was injured by the gunshots. The Georgetown Police Department says Pinckney should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you see Pinckney, you are urged to let law enforcement know as soon as possible.
