EVANSVILLE, INDIANA - A burglary suspect, already in jail, is now charged with a second burglary.
Plus, police have officially named Jamerus Parkman as a person of interest in Susan Haynie’s murder.
Records show probable cause was found Thursday to charge Parkman with a burglary that happened July 14 on South Saint James Boulevard.
In this case, police say sunglasses were taken from two vehicles in a garage.
Police believe it’s Parkman on surveillance video during the time of the break-in.
They say a pair of the stolen glasses were found in Parkman’s room during his arrest.
Wednesday, we told you police were asking for surveillance video from the night of August 27.
They said it was in reference to the South Lombard Avenue burglary Parkman is also charged with.
That crime happened July 30.
August 27 was the day of Susan Haynie’s murder.
Her Gum Street home is right in the center of the area in which police are asking for surveillance.
