EVANSVILLE, INDIANA — Evansville Police arrested a suspect after a handgun was fired during an altercation early Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to a disturbance near Kentucky Avenue and Gum Street around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
At the scene, officers found a spent shell casing and a large amount of blood.
Jeron T. Sebree, 29, was accused of striking a victim with a handgun, which led to the weapon discharging and grazing three individuals.
Sebree was arrested later that night on felony charges of aggravated battery and criminal recklessness.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could follow.
