MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA — Two people were arrested Thursday after an armed robbery took place, according to the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Henry Robinson was arrested and charged with robbery and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon. Marvin Pressley was arrested and charged with robbery and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The incident report states that at approximately 4:56 p.m. on Sept. 4, officers were called to a Lowes Foods on Highway 41 in response to an armed robbery.
While en route to the incident location, officers reportedly received information from dispatch stating that the suspect fled the scene and was driving a silver Volkswagen SUV.
Officers met with the victim who stated that they were meeting a guy going by the name of "Beanz Robinson", to buy a pair of Nike shoes.
When both parties arrived at the Lowes Foods to make the exchange for the shoes, the victim exited his fiancée's car and got into the suspects car, where he reportedly met with Robinson and Pressley.
