AUSTIN, TEXAS - Austin police have arrested two suspects accused of robbing women at gunpoint near a central Austin neighborhood last month.
The Austin Police Department's Violent Crime Task Force arrested Andre Center, 47, and a juvenile in connection to the robbery series. Both are charged with credit card abuse. Additional charges may be pending.
Police say the incidents happened near the Hyde Park neighborhood. The suspects were last caught on camera at West 35th and Maiden Lane after allegedly stealing a fanny pack, a purse, and later, a shoulder bag.
Center was booked into the Travis County Jail and the juvenile suspect was booked into the Travis County Gardner Betts Juvenile Center.
