DANBURY, CONNECTICUT — A Danbury man with a previous felony conviction recently was arrested for allegedly beating a woman and forcing her into a sexual act last month, according to court documents.
Altonn Whitaker, 39, of Danbury is facing charges of first-degree sexual assault, criminal possession of a firearm, third-degree assault and two counts of violating a criminal protective order, stemming from a sexual assault complaint filed Aug. 26.
