HARTFORD, VERMONT - A New Haven man killed a New Hampshire resident and injured a second person in a Vermont shooting that resulted from a botched drug robbery, according to an arrest affidavit.
Demetrius Drew, 30, was arrested on charges of first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, assault and robbery with a deadly weapon, second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Aug. 21.
Drew was arrested with two residents of Rindge, N.H. — Jeffrey Mullins, 46, and Michelle Mullins, 48 — who were charged with aiding in the commission of first-degree murder and accessory to attempted assault and robbery, according to Vermont State Police.
