LONE TREE, Colo. — Police have arrested a man accused of killing a woman found dead during a welfare check in Lone Tree.
The Lone Tree Police Department said in a release Friday that Troy Marcus Reynolds Jr., 33, was arrested for the homicide of 57-year-old Kathleen Mayo on charges of first-degree murder, burglary, animal cruelty, menacing and tampering with physical evidence.
Lone Tree Police said just before noon on Thursday, Sept. 4, that officers were dispatched to a welfare check at an apartment at 10400 Park Meadows Drive. When they arrived, they found Mayo's body.
