LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS - Tommy Norman, a nationally recognized officer with the North Little Rock Police Department, was arrested Saturday on domestic violence charges, the department confirmed Sunday.
According to a statement from the North Little Rock Police Department, Norman, a 27-year veteran of the department, was charged with one count of domestic battery in the third degree.
Norman, 53, is currently being held without bond in the Pulaski County jail, according to the jail website.
The longtime North Little Rock police officer is known for his involvement in the community and his active social network channels, including his Instagram account, where he has 1.8 million followers.
