RIDGELAND, SOUTH CAROLINA - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) announced charges against a Ridgeland Correctional Institution inmate on Thursday.
The inmate, Darious Lamont Moore, 45, was charged on Monday, Sept. 15 with assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct (first degree) and kidnapping from an incident on July 16.
According to warrants provided by SLED, Lamont entered the office of the victim before barricading the door and attacking the victim, attempting to sexually assault them.
